Mirror glass

The history of mirrors dates back to ancient times when mankind first saw reflections in a pond or river and considered it magic. Long before man was able to make mirror out of glass, mirrors were produced using metals. Ancient craftsmen were able to create wonderful mirrors with glass or metal. Sheets of metal, mostly copper, was flattened and polished until it could be used as a mirror.

Mirror clearly displays the real fact about our health, vitality or say, inner beauty. It is used for personal hygiene, check personal attire and also as a scientific apparatus. Modern mirrors are made of this aluminium or silver sheet spread on a sheet of glass. The mirrors can be flat or curved like concave or convex used for different purposes.

Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling very fine bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface. Sandblast glass can be made by a popular technique. The sandblast glass process is done to drive away sharp-edged particles by air, water or a blast wheel to remove rust, mill scale, paint or contaminants from surface materials.

In glass etching, abrasive is blasted at the glass lightly to turn the glass semi-opaque. Glass is carved by steadily sandblasting the surface through a stencil with differing depths and angles of cuts creating an array of lighting effects that may be quite beautiful.
