Next, any remaining roughness is smoothed out, and the edges are polished to perfection using fine-grained diamond grinding wheels or powdered pumice, resulting in a smooth, polished finish.
Different finishes and edge types available:
- Round or flat raw edge
- Round or flat polished edge
- Beveled edge, ideal for glass-to-glass bonding
- Owl’s beak edge, or other custom finishes depending on the grinding wheels used
